Hope you are doing great. That is my pleasure to introduce with you my very first traditional Art 2-days Online Workshop: Drawing & Sketching Techniques on Feb 19 & 20, 2022, and yes, it’s free to join! Please follow some information below if you are interested in attending the Workshops.
WORKSHOP CONTENTS
In this Workshop, I will focus on traditional drawing, and we will mostly work on Sketching & Drawing techniques that supports you in your Visual Art. These are contents of this Workshop:
- Materials introduction: Go through some kinds of materials that can be used for drawing & sketching, types and brands, recommendations.
- Setup and pencils controlling: Discuss on hand controlling techniques, how to hold a pencil to have a comfortable feeling, how to change hand pressure to work on Tonal values, how to setup drawing working space, how to setup light,…
- Sketching fundamental techniques: Introduce some types of sketching techniques such as Gesture, Contour, Constructive Sketching,… and Shading techniques such as Scratching, Cross-hatching, continuous tonal values,…
- How to sketch anything you see: Introduce methods of sketching such as simplifying the forms, understanding the construction of the subject, relation between elements, straight and curved lines sketching,…
- Demonstrations: Demonstrating some sketches with various kinds of subject matters such as still life and landscapes.

Because of different time zones, there will be 2 course timing options, so you can choose which one is convenient for you to join, and this is a very IMPORTANT note: Both course options have the same topic and date, but Time, Registration link and Zoom link are different.
