It is my pleasure to introduce with you my Workshop: “Ink Techniques for Ornaments & Illustrations”, all levels welcome, and that will be started from March 12, 2022. It includes 4-days lessons, two hours each day, weekend time, and  the workshop information will be described below: 

WORKSHOP OUTLINE 

A. INK TECHNIQUES

I. Materials Introduction

  1. Traditional Ink Drawing: Using nibs and ink
  2. Drawing Pen: Using pens with different sizes of pen tip
  3. Paper
  4. Sketching materials
  5. Brands recommendations

I. Basic Ink Techniques

  1. Ink experiment
  2. Warm-up exercises
  3. Basic ink strokes & Techniques
  4. Basic ink shading techniques: Scratching & Cross-Hatching
  5. Scratchboard Techniques

III. Demonstration & Exercises

  1. Drawing & Shading some basic forms with ink
  2. Drawing & Shading simple Ornaments
  3. Drawing & Shading simple Illustrations

B. ORNAMENTS COMPOSTITION

  • Introduce foundational concepts of Ornaments & Illustration Design
  • Subject Matters: Acanthus, plants, banner, animals, and more
  • Discussion: How to compose an Ornaments & Illustration Design
  • Applying ink techniques on your design

Because of different time zones, there will be 2 workshop timing options, so you can choose which one is convenient for you to join, and this is a very IMPORTANT note: Both course options have the same topic and date, but Time, Registration link and Zoom link are different.

RECORDINGS & REVIEW: All the lessons will be recorded and can be reviewed within 30 days.

  • Total fee for joining Workshop: 190 USD/person (20% Discount for participants who joined my past workshops)

Process of Registration and Payment (Important note)

There are some steps to follow for the registration and payment:

  1. Choose the Workshop: Choose the Workshop option that is convenient for you to join, and click on the Registration link, then fill in some information on the Register form and submit.
  2. Confirmation Email: After the submission, you will receive a confirmation email from me within 24 – 48 hours, and DO NOT make the payment before you receive a confirmation email.
  3. Payment method: After receiving the confirmation email, you can make the payment to Paypal account: trile.shiba@gmail.com
  4. Receipt: After making the payment, please kindly send receipt of Paypal transaction to my email trile.shiba@gmail.com to confirm your registration
  5. Cancellation policy: After making the payment, if there is any reason that you cannot join the course, there is free cancellation for you within 48 hours, the payment will be refunded to your Paypal account.
  6. Workshop link: Zoom link, ID, and Passcode will be sent to your email 24 hours before the course starts.
