Hello friends, today I am very happy to introduce to you my upcoming Workshop on the topic of Illustration, and this time we will learn about Scratchboard Illustration, a classical illustration technique with ink. The Workshop includes 4 days, held only on weekends (Saturday & Sunday), starting from June 11, 2022.
In this Workshop, we will focus on ink illustration techniques by using the Scratchboard Illustration method. Follow the information below for more details:

I. Basic Ink Technique
- Materials:
– Traditional materials and tools
– Modern materials and tools
– Paper, ink and supporting tools
- Various Ink techniques
– Scratching Techniques
– Hatching & Cross-Hatching Techniques
– Dotted/Stippling Techniques
– Scratchboard Illustration Techniques
- Warm-ups and experiments
- Sketching Techniques with pencil
– Constructive Drawing method
– Structural analysis of the objects
– Analysis of the surface structure of the objects
- The Simplified form method
– Simplifying forms from complex objects
– Analysis of the surface and structure of the form
- Shading Technique
– Analysis of the Shading’s factors
– Shading basic objects
– Shading on simplified forms
II. Scratchboard Illustration
- Basic technique
– Scratchboard warm-up exercises
– Shading with Scratchboard Illustration technique
- Illustration
– Still life illustration (Flowers, Fruits,…)
– Animal illustration
– Landscape illustration (Sky, Clouds, Trees, Sea,..)
– Figures and costumes
III. Illustration Composition
- Sharing the process of composing an illustration

DATE & TIME
The Workshop will be held only on Saturday and Sunday for 2 weeks:
Day 1: June 11, 2022
Day 2: June 12, 2022
Day 3: June 18, 2022
Day 4: June 19, 2022
Because of different time zones, there will be 2 course timing options, so you can choose which one is convenient for you to join, and this is a very IMPORTANT note: Both course options have the same topic and date, but Time, Registration link and Zoom link are different.

Process of Registration and Payment (Important note)

- Confirmation Email: After the submission, you will receive a confirmation email from me within 24 – 48 hours, and DO NOT make the payment before you receive a confirmation email.
